Vintage Haldensleben Vase

This beautiful Vintage ceramic vase produced by VEB Haldensleben, a manufacturer from former East Germany .  Featuring a jug style silhouette with a tall neck and sturdy side handle. This piece showcases a striking two toned glaze, a smooth metallic grey upper paired with a textured orange ‘lava’ glaze on the lower half. This contrast of glazes highlight the iconic style of mid century German Ceramics. 23cm high, base of 7.5cm and an aperture of 4.5cm. Markings on the base of 4070 3.  A stylish and timeless example of classic German ceramic design.
