A set of French Pewter Pitchers/ Flagons with a lidded design with double acorns as a finial. Very characteristic of the 19th Century and classic French examples of flagons used for serving wine or cider.
Largest of 28cm and going down in height 24, 22, 19 and 18cm. Stamped on the bottom ‘Etain 82%’ along with a part stamp of a flower and crown. One of them has a different stamp of an angel & fleur de lys. Pitchers are unpolished with a few age related marks and dings. Selling as a set of 5, stage these in a farmhouse kitchen setting or would easily sit comfortably on a window sill overlooking a flowering garden.
