This rare architectural building blocks features finely crafted stone blocks inspired by masonry forms. The pieces, rendered in warm terracotta reds, soft limestone tones and slate accents, the pieces are precision cut into arches, columns and geometric elements allowing for intricate construction and endless configurations. There is a printed colour catalogue of various designs, evoking the charm of of the late 1800’s, used as an educticational toy or by children just having fun. Both tactile and visually striking, this set can make numerous display objects.

A highly collectable set from Friedrich Ritcher, perfect for collectors, designers and lovers of historic craftmanship, it blends timeless aesthetics with hands on creativity.

Good condition for its age,with a minor chips, with one cracked piece and a few ink marks, this set of over 200 pieces has been well used which adds to its charm & character. A few pieces are missing but the box looks full. The instruction booklet have been well thumbed and the pages are separated. The box itself is good but the lid shows signs of a repair and sits on the box. The inner top section has a set of metal handles that flip out to lift the section out allowing access to the bottom layer.  Overall a piece of history in a box.

Length of box is 34cm with a width of 25cm and the depth is 8cm.
