Raku Incense Burner / Lidded Jar

This beautiful sculptural Raku ceramic is made using hand building techniques by Rob Whelpton, in his own studio in Wiltshire. Each of his pieces are decorated using coloured slips, glazes or metal leaf and fired using ancient Raku techniques. This piece separates in the middle and to reveal space for incense, potpourri or your secret stash. The earthy brown and grey tones with a touch of orange, with its ring handle makes this a stunning piece. Whilst it’s small in stature, it packs a punch in the Raku world. Style simply or use as intended as an incense burner or even as a lidded jar.

With a height of 12cm with a diameter of 10.5cm. Displayed on a small plinth which is not for sale.
